Sacred Heart Cathedral is a vibrant and growing parish that is highly diversified in ethnic mix, age, and social economics. There are over 1,200 registered families with approximately 5,000 members. We invite you to Join Our Parish!

We have 6 weekend masses: 8:00 am and 5:00 pm (Vigil) on Saturdays, and 7:30 am, 9:00 am, 11:00 am and 1:00 pm (Spanish). Confessions are heard after the Saturday morning mass or by appointment (call 865.588.0249).

FACILITIES – To maximize the utilization of the Sacred Heart campus to meet the current and future needs of the parish and, at the same time, create a welcoming environment.

FAITH FORMATION – To further enhance the spiritual life of our parishioners to strengthen our Catholic faith, service, and evangelization.

COMMUNICATION – To effectively and regularly communicate the mission, vision, and values of Sacred Heart to our parishioners and community.

SCHOOL – TO enable and promote our school to provide a vibrant learning environment that emphasizes quality education, teaching of Gospel values, and fostering faithful disciples through prayer, academic integrity, and service to others.

UNITY IN DIVERSITY – To develop a parish environment that strengthens the unity in diversity of our Eucharistic community.

Sacred Heart is a part of the Leadership Roundtable’s Standards for Excellence program. A national initiative to promote the highest standards of ethics and accountability in Catholic Church management and operations. What makes the Standards for Excellence program unique is that it provides Catholic diocese, parishes and nonprofits with a common sense approach to achieve the highest standards in governance and management, while staying focused on the pastoral mission, the people, and communities served.
