Organization Definition
Ministry – A ministry is any service organization at the parish or diocesan level approved as such by the pastor. A ministry has permission to schedule events and use the parish facilities outside of the fee structure. The lists of approved ministries are:

Community Organization
A community organization is any service organization not directly affiliated with Sacred Heart Cathedral Parish. Examples might include: Junior League, Knoxville Youth Sports, AAU basketball, and Honor Air.
Private Reception
- Private Reception (Sacramental) is any event revolving around the celebration of the sacraments.
- Private Reception (Non-Sacramental) is any event revolving around personal celebrations. Examples might include birthdays, family holiday celebrations, sports banquets, and corporate meetings.
