Deacons Dan Alexander and Joel Livingston will join Deacon Ben Johnston on the Pastoral team at Sacred Heart Cathedral.

Deacon Dan Alexander (top left)
Ordained 2010 for the Diocese of Knoxville and assigned to St. Albert the Great Parish in Knoxville and served as deacon there until his move to St. Stephen’s Parish in Chattanooga. At St. Stephen he served as Parish Administrator for 6 months and was involved in RCIA, served the needs of the homebound, Sacramental Preparation Education and other ministries as needed. He is married to Carolyn.

Deacon Joel Livingston (top right)
Ordained in 1994 for the Diocese of Metuchen in New Jersey. Assigned to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Bernardsville, NJ and served as deacon there until his move to Knoxville in 2015. At the parish he was the director of RCIA, Confirmation Preparation and taught Religious Education and served the needs of the homebound and other ministries as needed. For the Diocese of Metuchen he served as Director of Deacon Formation, and chair of the Ecumenical and Interfaith Initiatives Commission. He is married to Carol.
